Analysis: Private Equity Consistently Beats the S&P 500

Today the Private Equity Growth Capital Council released a new analysis highlighting private equity’s track record of delivering higher returns than the S&P 500. The analysis also found that private equity has provided superior returns for public pension funds and that large pension funds continue to increase their allocation to private equity to bolster total portfolio performance.
